Lower bounds on intergalactic magnetic field (IGMF) have been previously derived from gamma-ray data on extreme blazars. These bounds suffer from uncertainty related to the absence of regularly sampled measurements of time-average blazar TeV band spectra.
We use LHAASO telescope to infer time-average TeV band spectrum of an extreme blazar 1ES 1218+304 and derive a lower bound on IGMF from...
A Possible Star-Forming Origin of the Ultrahigh-Energy Gamma-Ray Source 1LHAASO J1814−1636u
Massive star-forming regions are promising sites of Galactic cosmic-ray acceleration to PeV energies. To investigate their connection with ultrahigh-energy gamma-ray emission, we examine the environment of 1LHAASO J1814−1636u, detected above 100 TeV at approximately 7σ, and its possible association...
The Hubble constant is of paramount importance in astrophysics and cosmology. The precise determination of the Hubble constant is one of the critical problems in modern cosmology. In this poster, we present our preliminary results on measuring the Hubble constant using extragalactic sources observed by LHAASO and Fermi-LAT. By combining observations across a broad energy range, we aim to...
This poster carries out parallel optimization for the G4KM2A cosmic ray simulation program based on the Paralux heterogeneous parallel scheduling technology. The optimization significantly improves the simulation efficiency of high energy cosmic ray events.
Using the All-sky Root around in an Unbiased way (ARU) software, we search or transients within the daily-integrated LHAASO-WCDA maps. This approach has the advantage that does not require to assume a functional form of the observed data or the diffuse emissions from the galaxy. We show the results for Mrk 421 and NGC 1275 as for other variable galactic sources.
We search for very-high-energy gamma-ray emission from M31 using LHAASO data, covering 0.63–10 TeV with WCDA and 25–2500 TeV with KM2A. With two spatial models, a point source and an HI gas template, we find no significant signal and derive 95% confidence level flux upper limits in individual energy bins. At a distance of 780 kpc, the point-source limits correspond to luminosities of order...
