About the speaker:
Prof. Dr. Florian Bernlochner is an experimental particle physicist. He is spokesperson of Belle II collaboration since 2025. His main research focus is the direct and indirect search for new phenomena at highest energies and intensities (with the Belle II experiment and the ATLAS experiment) and in the extreme forward direction (FASER experiment). His expertise spans the experimental and phenomenological study of beauty quarks and Higgs boson properties, and he and his group were instrumental in the first observation of collider neutrino events.
