    1GeV/c Wide Range Magnetic Spectrometer

      Abstract:The structure of an 1GeV/c wide-range magnetic spectrometer is briefly described.The spectrometer includes the magnet system and the detector & data acquisition system.The momentum formula at extended edge field case for non-focusing magnetic spectrometer has been derived.The momentum resolution,solid angle,momentum acceptance and other parameters for this spectrometer are calculated by Monte Carlo simulation.The effects of the multiple scattering and position resolution of the detectors to momentum resolution of this spectrometer are discussed.
