Shell-model studies of isomeric states in51,52,53Fe

  • The yrast bands of51,52,53Fe have been studied with a microscopical effective Hamiltonian derived from the charge-dependent Bonn NN potential. Calculations obtain satisfactory agreements with experimental data, reproducing the observed isomeric states. The possible origins of the isomers are discussed.
