Measurement of theh11/2Band of117Cs

  • A new rotational band was identified in the reaction of 28Si+ 92Mo by means of in-beam 7-ray methods. By carefully analyzing the band intensity and structure properties, the band is considered likely as the h 11/2proton band of 117Cs.
