    Mass excess of69Br and therpprocess

        Abstract:The proton separation energySpof -786.07±11.49 keV has been evaluated for69Br from a least squares fit of mass difference of analog states versusα/A1/3, whereαis the average charge of the mirror nuclei andAis the mass number. The extractedSpvalue is indicative of the rapid proton-capture processrp, and subsequent Type I X-ray bursts.
