Abstract:
The spectroscopic properties of SrBPO
5doped with Ce
3+ions are investigated in 130—400nm wavelength region.The bands corresponding to the 4f
1→4f
05d
1transitions of Ce
3+in the host lattices are identified.The barycenter of Ce
3+in the host lattice is found at 43.2×10
3cm
-1,which is relative higher for Ce
3+in oxide.In addition,the host absorption and the crystal field splitting as well as the emission of SrBPO
5:Ce
3+under VUV-UV excitation are presented and discussed.
