For Run 1 and Run 2\, the RICH system combined a erogel and gas radiators with hybrid photon detectors (HPDs). The Upgrade I for Run 3 introduced a new RICH1 optical system\, fast multi-anode photo multiplier tubes (MaPMTs)\, and redesigned front-end electronics\, enablin g operation at higher luminosity while maintaining excellent particle iden tification performance. For Upgrade II\, picosecond-level timing and new f ront-end electronics will further enhance particle identification under ev en more demanding conditions. This contribution reviews the evolution of t he LHCb RICH detectors\, highlighting key technological advances\, perform ance achievements\, and future challenges. About the speaker: Antonis P apanestis is a particle physicist with over 25 years of experience in dete ctor development\, detector control systems\, and large-scale project mana gement. Originally from Greece\, he earned his MSc in Physics from the Uni versity of Ioannina before serving as a communications specialist in the G reek Army. He received his Ph.D. from University College London in medical applications of particle physics detectors. In 1998\, he joined INFN Pisa as a Marie Curie Fellow\, contributing to the CMS experiment and novel ga s micro-pattern detectors. Since joining RAL in 2000\, Antonis has contrib uted to reconstruction software and detector control systems\, and led the LHCb RICH sub-system for six years during Run 1 and Run 2. From 2019 to 2 021\, he managed the DUNE-UK project\, overseeing a major investment by th e UK government. He currently leads the RAL LHCb group's activities in RIC H operations and the Mighty Pixel project for Upgrade II. Outside work\, Antonis enjoys reading science fiction\, riding roller coasters with his sons\, and giving public talks on developments in physics and the achievem ents of CERN scientists. zoom meeting ID: 9881 8060 660 Password: 261019 \n\nhttps://indico.ihep.ac.cn/event/31122/ LOCATION:122 (多学科大楼) URL:https://indico.ihep.ac.cn/event/31122/ END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
