session (cosmic ray anisotropy)
- Ruizhi Yang
Direct measurements of atmospheric muon spectrum at high energies (> 10 TeV) can help to understand the contribution of prompt muon fluxes and clarify the details of the primary energy spectrum. The dominant processes for this energy range are pair production and bremsstrahlung. It is assumed to reconstruct muon energy with a pair-meter method, using WCDA data. Due to cellular structure of...
We report the progress on the combined measurement of large-scale anisotropy by LHAASO-WCDA and LHAASO-KM2A. For wcda, we remove solar activities and improve the significance of measurement at low energy. For km2a, we add one more years' data. We find the energy dependence of tail-in, cygnus regions. And the region A can be further split into two regions
The weak anisotropies in the arrival directions of cosmic rays offer valuable insights into their origin and propagation. Compared with energy-dependent evolution, rigidity-dependent variations provide a more direct and effective probe of cosmic-ray transport, yet such measurements have remained elusive. Here, for the first time, we reconstruct rigidity using LHAASO-KM2A data by combining...
Many $\gamma$-ray sources, such as supernova remnants, superbubbles, and pulsar halos, may be surrounded by regions where cosmic ray (CR) diffusion is suppressed relative to the typical galactic rate. Although these regions strongly affect CRs injected by their associated accelerators, their impact on the pre-existing CR background remains poorly understood. We have derived an analytical...
