Earlier this year, the LHAASO Collaboration published measurements of the cosmic-ray proton and helium spectra from 100 TeV to 10 PeV, revealing new spectral features that suggest potentially different origins of cosmic rays in different energy ranges. To further characterize these features and clarify their physical implications, it is important to extend the proton and helium spectrum...
IN cosmic ray EAS experiment, it is neccessary to combine hadronic component, electromagnetic compoment and muon component to determine energy and then obtain all particle energy spectrum. ENDA-64 keeps on running and taking data at the LHAASO site. Since Jan. 2025, EAS thermal neutron sampling time has been set 5 ms for 21 months to reduce background. Detected thermal neutrons of all data...
We present a measurement of the all-particle cosmic-ray energy spectrum from about 30 TeV to 1 PeV using about 4.3 years of LHAASO-KM2A data. The shower size is described by the combined electromagnetic and muonic estimator $N_{e\mu} = N_e + 2.8\,N_\mu$, and events are selected with cores between 320 and 420 m from the array centre and zenith angles below 30°.
The reconstructed energy...
