Since the late twentieth century\, substantial progress has been made in both theoretical and experimental studies of nucleon spi n structure\, with active participation in major international collaborati ons such as HERMES\, JLab\, and RHIC. In recent years\, the global polari zation effect in heavy-ion collisions\, originally proposed by Chinese phy sicists\, has been experimentally confirmed at several major facilities\, including RHIC\, LHC\, and SIS18. This has opened up a new direction in sp in physics in heavy-ion collisions\, which has since developed rapidly. Re search in both physics and experimental techniques in this field in China has now entered a new stage of development. To further promote communicati on and collaboration in strong-interaction spin physics\, it has been prop osed to initiate a domestic conference series entitled “Conference on S trong-Interaction Spin Physics.” The conferences will cover the followin g topics:\n\n\n Proton spin structure and form factors\n Three-dimensional nucleon structure and fragmentation functions\n Spin physics in heavy-ion collisions\n Polarized beams and targets\n Future large-scale facilities\ n\n\n The 1st Conference on Strong-Interaction Spin Physics wil l be held in Qingdao\, China\, from July 27 to 30\, 2026 (registration on July 26\, departure on July 31).
