The theme of this year’s School is Neutrino Geos cience. The Fall School will take place immediately before Neutrino Geoscie nce 2026\, the international workshop to be held in Zhuhai from 16 to 19 N ovember. Together\, the School and the Workshop will provide a platform fo r education\, interdisciplinary exchange\, and the development of new coll aborations among the neutrino-physics and Earth-science communities.Backgr oundNeutrinos and antineutrinos provide unique probes of regions that cann ot be accessed directly. Geoneutrinos produced by radioactive decays insid e the Earth offer an experimental means of studying the abundance and dist ribution of heat-producing elements\, the terrestrial heat budget\, and th e composition and evolution of the crust and mantle.Measurements by KamLAN D\, Borexino\, and SNO+ have established geoneutrino science as an importa nt interdisciplinary field. The recent first geoneutrino results from JUNO \, together with the continued development of existing and future experime nts\, are opening a new era of higher-statistics and higher-precision stud ies. At the same time\, advances in geological modelling\, geochemistry\, geophysics\, nuclear data\, detector technologies\, directional reconstruc tion\, and multi-messenger tomography are creating new opportunities for u nderstanding the Earth through the combined use of complementary observati ons.Realizing the full scientific potential of these measurements requires researchers who can communicate across traditional disciplinary boundarie s. Particle physicists must understand the assumptions and uncertainties o f geological models\, while Earth scientists must become familiar with neu trino production\, detection\, backgrounds\, statistical analysis\, and ex perimental limitations. The Fall School is being organized to help build t his shared foundation. Objectives and programmeThe School is intended prima rily for graduate students\, postdoctoral researchers\, and other early-ca reer scientists interested in neutrino physics\, geophysics\, geochemistry \, geology\, planetary science\, nuclear physics\, and related fields.Lect ures and discussions will introduce the essential concepts and methods of neutrino geoscience\, including:neutrino and antineutrino physics\;geoneut rino production and detection\;results and prospects of current and future experiments\;detector response\, backgrounds\, and statistical analysis\; the structure\, composition\, and thermal evolution of the Earth\;geologic al modelling around detector sites\;crustal and mantle contributions\;geoc hemical and geophysical constraints on Earth models\;directional detection and ocean-based measurements\;neutrino tomography and other multi-messeng er approaches to studying the Earth. The programme will combine introductor y and advanced lectures with tutorials\, discussions\, and opportunities f or direct interaction with specialists from different disciplines. Particu lar emphasis will be placed on helping participants understand how experim ental measurements and Earth models can be compared within consistent unce rtainty frameworks.Venue and accommodationThe School will be held in Zhuha i\, Guangdong\, China\, on the Zhuhai campus of Sun Yat-sen University. Mo re detailed information concerning the meeting venue\, transportation\, re gistration\, and arrival/local arrangements will be provided later on this website.Accommodation for accepted students will be arranged by the local organizers. The organizers will also cover their local expenses during th e School\, in accordance with the arrangements specified in the acceptance notification.Participants accepted for the Fall School will also be encou raged to attend Neutrino Geoscience 2026\, providing them with an opportun ity to connect the foundational material presented during the School with the latest research results and discussions at the international workshop. WelcomeWe warmly welcome applications from students and early-career resea rchers throughout the world. Applicants from both neutrino physics and the Earth sciences are particularly encouraged to participate. No previous sp ecialization in neutrino geoscience is required\, but applicants should ha ve a strong interest in interdisciplinary research and in communicating ac ross conventional academic boundaries.Through this Fall School\, we hope t o introduce a new generation of researchers to neutrino geoscience\, stren gthen connections between experimental and theoretical communities\, and p romote long-term international collaboration in this rapidly developing fi eld.We look forward to welcoming you to Zhuhai in November 2026!Organiza tion Committee of the Fall School: ·Feng-peng An (Sun Yat-sen University )·Mark Chen (Queen’s University\, Canada)·Hongjian Fang (Sun Yat-sen U niversity)·Ruohan Gao (China University of Geosciences\, Beijing)·Guangz heng Jiang (Chengdu University of Technology)·Ran Han (North China Electr ic Power University)·Yufeng Li (Institute of High Energy Physics-CAS\, Co -chair)·Zhiwei Li (China University of Geosciences\, Beijing)·Livia Ludh ova (JGU Mainz and GSI\, Germany)·Fabio Mantovani (INFN and University of Ferrara\, Italy)·William F.
