We want to understand the universe better at the most fundamental level – from the smallest subatomic particles to the large-scale structure of the cosmos. We also want to use the knowledge and technology that comes fr om our research for the good of humanity. As well as theoretical and exper imental research into particle and astroparticle physics\, we have a broad range of research in related fields such as accelerator technologies and nuclear analysis techniques. The Institute also provides beam facilities f or researchers in other fields of study.\n\nIHEP’s main campus is at Yuq uan Road in the west part of Beijing. The Yuquan campus hosts the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider\, the BESIII experiment\, the Beijing Synchrotr on Radiation Facility\, and most of IHEP’s research and administrative s taff. In the Huairou campus located in north of Beijing\, the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) is under commissioning. HEPS is a green-field 4th gen eration synchrotron radiation lightsource with energy 6GeV.\n\nThe Donggua n campus\, is one of China's leading national research facilities for mate rials science (China Spallation Neutron Source\, CSNS). It produces neutro ns with an accelerator-based system that delivers proton pulses to a tungs ten target through a process called spallation. These neutrons are then di rected toward state-of-the-art instruments that provide a variety of capab ilities to researchers across a broad range of disciplines\, such as physi cs\, chemistry\, biology\, and materials science. In addition\, IHEP runs experiment like JUNO (Guangdong)\, AliCPT (Tibet)and LHAASO (Sichuan) .\ n\nFurther Info:\n\nhttp://english.ihep.cas.cn/\n\nhttp://english.ihep.cas .cn/csns/\n\n \n\nhttps://indico.ihep.ac.cn/event/28689/ LOCATION: 40/S2-B01 - Salle bohr (CERN) URL:https://indico.ihep.ac.cn/event/28689/ END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
