The first workshop on the physics of small-x

This workshop marks thefirst small-x Workshop at the LHC in China, bringing together theorists and experimentalists to discuss recent progress and future directions in the study ofhigh-energy QCD and gluon saturationphenomena at LHC energies.

The focus of the meeting is tostrengthen the connection between CGC-based theory developments and current and upcoming LHC measurements, including proton–proton, proton–nucleus, and nucleus–nucleus collisions. Emphasis will be placed on phenomenology, comparisons to data, and theidentification of key observables sensitive to saturation effects.

The workshop aims to:

• Review the current status of CGC and small-x theory relevant to the LHC
• Present recent experimental results and analyses related to saturation physics
• Foster dialogue between theory and experiment communities
• Identify open challenges and opportunities for future measurements and theoretical developments
